Simplifying MJDF Part 1 revision day provides both theoretical knowledge of core areas and mock assessment through simulated examination conditions.
The day runs as an interactive presentation/lecture, accompanied by mock multiple-choice questions and extended matching questions (EMQs) with opportunities for feedback.
There are targeted lectures to cover key subject areas commonly questioned in the MJDF Part 1 examination alongside ongoing feedback. The key to the success of this study day is the constant feedback that we receive about previous exams from past candidates; This allows us to customise the programme towards current topics, while reinforcing the basics.
The crucial feature is the interactive nature of the days: delegates are given the opportunity to ask lecturers questions throughout, and a section at the end is dedicated to further questions. Though there is only one day of face-to-face teaching, the delegates are provided preparatory packs prior to the study days to guide their learning and preparation, and are provided ongoing support by the divisional tutor and the academic team on a wide range of topics until the exams.
Feedback from delegates regarding the courses is always sought, and this has influenced improvements to the content and delivery of the courses.
Tea/Coffee breaks are throughout the day, there is a 3 course hot buffet lunch provided.
